AR, Interactive, video calling experience. Feel the bond of reading stories together, even if you can’t be in the same room. Animated characters and imaginative masks inspired by each story keep everyone engaged. Story Time starts with the magic of well-loved stories and brings them to life with music, animation, and AR effects. Latest stories feature multiple choose your own adventure paths (I co-designed this experience).
Contains original and licensed stories from Dr. Seuss (Penguin Random House), Pete the Cat (HarperCollins), Author Todd Parr (Little Brown Books), Llama Llama (Penguin Random House), Author Jon Burgerman (Dial Books), Thank you, Omu! Viral AR filters that pair a dramatic zoom in effect along with animation and a soundtrack
Audio Tech: Mono audio implemented as one-shots or loops. Built in Meta’s Spark.
Role(s): Audio director overseeing a team of designers and working directly with the product manager and engineering lead. I designed the technology to allow the app to switch between multiple audio files so that the music and sfx would end in sync with the video which could be between 5 - 15 seconds

Messenger Kids
Filters and Games
Interactive AR filters and AR games. Messenger Kids is a messaging app and platform released by Meta. The platform is designed for a young audience as a safer alternative to Messenger. It is filled with an ever expanding library of interactive filters and AR games meant to be played alone or with another person on a video call.
Audio Tech: Interactive filters and games are built in Meta Spark and make use of one-shots and loops.
Role(s): Sound designer, composer, implementer, mixer, project lead
